Mild weather sticks around with temps near 80 degrees Friday

PITTSBURGH — Enjoy an outdoor lunch or dinner Friday, with mild weather sticking around. Temperatures will climb back near 80 degrees, about 10 above average.

Wildfire smoke could give a hazy look to the sky; otherwise we’ll see plenty of sunshine.

Take advantage of a warm, dry weekend because cooler temperatures are right around the corner.

Saturday and Sunday will be dry with a mix of clouds and sunshine -- perfect for biking or walking on the trails or a fall picnic with your family.

Showers return early next week as several waves of wet weather move through the area. Temperatures will take a hit too, with highs struggling to get back near 60 degrees by Thursday.
