Mild weekend expected before snow, wintry mix move back in

PITTSBURGH — Look for a break in the weather this weekend before the next winter weather maker moves in.

Temperatures will start in the 20s but rebound into the 40s Saturday, with more sunshine as the day goes on.

Sunday will be even milder, with highs jumping to near 50 degrees – just a few degrees off the average high temperature for this time of the year.

The next storm will move our way Monday, starting as rain, then a wintry mix before changing to all snow.

The track of the storm will eventually determine what falls, when and where – and a shift north could mean more rain and less snow. Stay with our team of meteorologists as we bring you the latest updates.
