After another round of morning fog, sunshine will help temperatures warm up again Thursday. Humidity will also be on the rise, so it will feel muggy.
By noon temperatures will climb into the low 80s and eventually top out in the mid 80s, which is about 10 to 12 degrees above average.
Friday will bring more warmth and humidity, but a strong cold front is set to move in late day.
As the cooler air moves into the warm, muggy air locked in our area-thunderstorms will develop.
A few storms could be strong to severe. Our team of meteorologists will be tracking the storms and the severe weather threats in your area.
The timing of this system will be critical as to how strong the storms will be.
