Cloudy, cool Wednesday afternoon

PITTSBURGH — There will be some lingering light rain into the early afternoon hours, but the rest of the day will be mostly dry and mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the mid 50s. Overnight lows will fall into the mid 40s with rain returning from the south toward the north as the remnants of Hurricane Zeta brings additional moisture to the area.

Widespread soaking rain will begin ealry Thursday. There will be periods of heavy downpours but flooding issues should be isolated. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be possible with isolated higher totals of 3″.
