Patch, freezing drizzle overnight could leave slippery spots for morning commute

Pittsburgh — Snow showers will build back Sunday evening as a weather disturbance moves through. Temperatures will be in the low 30s with breezy winds. If you’re heading out, plan on having your big coat and watch for potential slick spots that may develop on untreated surfaces.

Overall, not much snow is expected through Monday morning. An additional dusting to 0.5 inches is possible with higher amounts of 1 to 2 inches along the I-80 corridor.

Scattered snow showers will continue on Monday with temperatures in the morning near 30 degrees and highs in the mid-30s. Patchy freezing drizzle may also develop during the afternoon Monday, mainly in the higher elevations of the ridges.
