Temperatures cooling off into mid 50s overnight into Tuesday

PITTSBURGH — With clear skies, temperatures will take a tumble Monday night with patchy fog in spots. Expect temperatures in the mid 50s overnight.

Enjoy pleasant weather again Tuesday with lower humidity and season temperatures. It will be perfect for a walk around the block or a jog on the trails.

An isolated shower or storm may pop up late in the day, especially to areas south of Pittsburgh. Most of the area will stay dry but a weak system could stir up a little wet weather during the early afternoon and evening.

Another stray shower or storm may impact your plans on Wednesday, but any wet weather will not be widespread or severe.

Summer heat returns later this week and into the weekend with highs again pushing near 90 degrees.
