PITTSBURGH — Check your furnace and grab a sweatshirt if you head out early this weekend.

Clear conditions and light winds will allow temperatures to take a quick tumble overnight. They’ll bottom out in the 30s.

A frost advisory will be in effect for most of the area and a freeze warning is in place for the ridges of Westmoreland and Fayette counties overnight into Saturday morning. Make sure to cover sensitive outdoor plants as temperatures will dip close to freezing.
