Rain turning to snow overnight, slick conditions possible

PITTSBURGH — Scattered rain and snow showers will continue across the area through Saturday evening. These will turn to all snow showers overnight.

The air will turn colder with lows near freezing by Sunday morning. A dusting to 0.5 inches of snow is possible across the area through sunrise Sunday. Slick spots are possible.

Scattered snow showers will continue through the day Sunday with some enhancement in the snow by Sunday evening. An additional 0.5 inches is possible through the day.

In general, the highest snow totals will be confined to the I-80 corridor and northern Butler County and parts of the ridges where 1-2 inches are possible.

Highs on Sunday will be in the upper-30s with breezy winds, so make sure you bundle up before heading out.
