Storms push through region, dropping temps and heavy rain

PITTSBURGH — All severe storm alerts in the Pittsburgh region have been allowed to expire.

Keep alert to streams and creeks the next few days as our stormy pattern is going to continue with numerous rounds of showers and storms.

It won’t rain the whole time, but when thunderstorms do break out, you’ll know it. The rain will be heavy during the storms and repeated rounds of heavy rain could lead to localized flooding.
