Scattered showers, thunderstorms moving out overnight

PITTSBURGH — Showers and thunderstorms continued Friday evening with some places picking up locally heavy rainfall.

Lightning is a threat in any thunderstorm. Expect thunderstorms to decrease in coverage after sunset with a mostly cloudy sky expected overnight. Lows will be in the low 60s.

Saturday is the official start to summer, and it will bring slightly humid conditions, highs in the low 80s and isolated showers and thunderstorms.

Father’s Day will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening.

Have a Plan B if you’re planning anything outdoors with Dad in case the weather is threatening. Highs will be in the mid-80s, and it will also be more humid than Saturday.
