Scattered showers, thunderstorms to wrap up workweek

PITTSBURGH — You can finally give the umbrella a rest after showers head out this evening.  Spotty showers and a stray rumble of thunder will exit the area this evening.

Clouds will break a bit and that could lead to a few areas of fog to start Saturday morning.

Saturday will be the better half of the weekend with a nice mix of sun and clouds.  Temperatures will climb into the mid-80s with only a stray shower possible late in the day.

Showers and a few storms return Sunday as a front crosses the area, but the rain won’t last long.  Many of the daylight hours Sunday will be dry.

Temperatures cool off a bit next week with highs only in the 70s Tuesday through Friday.
