Foggy night ahead before major warmup

PITTSBURGH — It’s going to feel more like late summer in the area the next few days with temperatures more than 10 to 15 degrees above normal.

It will be breezy Wednesday with gusts as high as 20 mph helping to push temperatures into the mid-70s. An isolated shower will be possible after lunch and into the evening, but most areas from I-80 south will stay dry.

Thursday and Friday will be even warmer, with high temperatures both days touching 80 degrees under mainly sunny skies.

An early look at the weekend shows the chance for showers and cooler, more normal temperatures.
