We are headed toward the end of March and it’s been a wet month for the city of Pittsburgh. March has seen 3.54 inches of rain which is 1.41 inches above average.
It was a warm winter for the area and snow has certainly been lacking. Pittsburgh has only seen 21.6 inches of snow since October 1 which is about 17 inches below average.
If the month ended today, this snow season would go down as the 14th least-snowiest on record for Pittsburgh.
