Stretch of summer-like weather continues Wednesday

PITTSBURGH — Our stretch of summer-like weather continues, with temperatures inching up near 90 degrees by the end of the week.

An isolated shower or two could pop up during the afternoon Wednesday, especially east of Pittsburgh. Otherwise, most of the area will stay dry.

By Friday, temperatures will reach 90 degrees or warmer, and that – combined with a gradual increase in humidity – will make it “feel” more uncomfortable.

A similar weather pattern continues through the weekend, with above-normal temperatures sticking around.

Severe Weather Team 11 is also tracking a slight uptick in shower and storm chances, with isolated thunderstorms possible on the 4th of July.
