February thaw continues with sunshine, temps near 50 Wednesday

Dry, chilly start to the week (1/11/21)

PITTSBURGH — “Happy” - that’s how some sunshine and milder temperatures will make you feel Wednesday. Plan a walk around the block or a bike ride to enjoy the break in the wintry weather.

Temperatures will climb near 50 degrees, the mildest we’ve seen so far this winter. Try to wrap up your outdoor plans around lunchtime though as a quick moving system will bring some rain showers back into the area for Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Dry weather will give you a chance to wash the car Thursday and Friday, but another system will bring a few more showers to start the weekend. Temperatures Saturday and Sunday will climb back near 50 degrees.
