Several rounds of wet weather expected this week

PITTSBURGH — Several rounds of wet weather will roll through the area this week, so keep your rain gear handy.

Scattered showers will slowly fade Tuesday morning giving you a break for a walk outdoors, with most of the day dry but cloudy.

Another wave of rain showers will develop late Wednesday, then continue off and on through the day Thursday.

Temperatures will soar mid to late week, with highs near 70 degrees.

Rain, and the threat for a few thunderstorms will end the week, and Friday, Severe Weather Team 11 will be monitoring the threat that soaking rain could cause flooding.
