Temperatures stay mild overnight, chances of spotty showers Friday morning

PITTSBURGH — A pleasant evening with increasing clouds. Great weather to get outside for an evening walk or run. Temperatures stay mild overnight, lows expected in the mid 40s. There is a chance of a few spotty showers before 9 a.m. Friday but mostly locations will stay dry.

Clouds kick off Friday with breaks for sun in the afternoon. Winds out of the SW will push temperatures to 60° Friday ahead of the next system that will bring rain to the area on Saturday. Rain will develop Saturday morning after 8am and continue through the day, the steadiest rain is expected from the early afternoon hours through the early evening hours. This wet weather will impact outdoor planners on New Year’s Eve with rainfall expected around a 0.50″ through late Saturday night. Clouds lingering early Sunday morning before sunshine breaks through in the afternoon, highs will be in the upper 40s.
