Cold start to Friday will lead to sunny skies

PITTSBURGH — Dress in layers when you head out Friday, as temperatures will climb more than 25 degrees from start to finish through the day.

The morning will be chilly, with lows near 40, but highs will climb quickly under plenty of May sunshine, topping out near 70 degrees by Friday afternoon.

An isolated sprinkle or two is possible later in the day, but rain chances are very low.

Milder temperatures will continue through the weekend so plan some time outdoors.
