PITTSBURGH — Try to wrap up your outdoor projects Thursday as our stretch of dry weather will be coming to an end.
A strong system will bring scattered showers back late Thursday and off and on Friday, with a better chance for steadier rain Saturday.
Friday night plans may include the threat for a few thunderstorms, but widespread severe weather is not expected.
Periods of rain early Saturday will gradually taper to scattered showers through the day.
The real weather story for the back half of the weekend will be the cooler temperatures with highs dropping nearly 15 degrees by Sunday.
