Wind advisory in effect, rain expected throughout the day Sunday

Widespread rain will pour for most of the daylight hours, moving in from the west toward the east.

Conditions will improve with rain clearing close to sunset. The rain will be light, with periods of heavier downpours and isolated storms, and most areas will receive less than a half inch of rain.

A Wind Advisory will be in effect from 9 a.m to 7 p.m. Sustained winds at 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Secure loose objects outside and use extra caution while driving.

Temperatures will take a dive from near 60 degrees today down into the 30s tonight. Cool days are ahead during the upcoming workweek. Tuesday brings back the chance for light snow showers.
