For the 25th anniversary of 'Hook,' the film's Lost Boys came together to remember Robin Williams

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the iconic Peter Pan film "Hook," and the movie's Lost Boys got together for an epic film reunion.

The boys, who are now all men, ranged in age from 6 to 17 when the film premiered in theaters, and some said it was surreal to get together and squeeze back into those costumes.

"We haven't seen each other in quite some time, but I almost feel like there was no lost time," James Madio (Don't Ask) told "Entertainment Tonight." "We just picked it up right away where we were and just reminiscing about everything. It's just really cool."

Brian Pocrass, CEO/Producer of 22 Vision, who has reunited the casts of other films, including “Little Rascals” and “School of Rock,” is behind this reunion and felt it was a special time to get the gang back together.

“‘Hook’ is just one of those movies that people really grew up on,” he said. “To get them together to remember Robin and celebrate this milestone is something that I loved being a part of.”

One special member of the “Hook” family is notably absent. This week marks the second anniversary of Robin Williams’ untimely death, and the Lost Boys all shared fond memories of their time on set with him.

“I think for all of us, [Williams’ death] was the death of our childhood,” Dante Basco (Rufio) said. “There’s sadness there, also there’s a lot of space to kinda celebrate one of the most legendary artists of our time.”

“[Williams] really taught me at a young age what it means to be a star, what it means to be a leader on a set,” he added. “Everything you want Robin Williams to be, he delivered in spades.”

“It was like his mission to make sure everyone around him is happy and laughing all the time,” Thomas Tulak (Too Small) remembered.

“He kept the set very alive,” Madio said. “He made sure that he had a relationship with each and every one of us."

Williams clearly impacted the lives of these men when they were young. When asked if they could say anything to the late actor, the group answered with “thank you.”

“A lot of the things we became, all these years later, are directly because of him,” Isaiah Robinson (Pockets) said.
