Viewers pining for more adventures with Nickelodeon’s celebrated animated dog Blue may have gotten their wish.
The network has ordered new episodes of "Blue's Clues," the seminal children's series that ran from 1996-2006, to reboot the franchise, according to a Tuesday announcement.
A new host has not been chosen, nor has a premiere date been announced.
Much like the original show, the new series will focus on lively animated pup Blue, who needs viewers' help to solve puzzles, along with a live host.
