CLARKSVILLE, Ind. — A 12-year-old southern Indiana girl recently asked her stepfather to make things official by adopting her.
Jenna Basham penned her request in an emotional letter which Jon Beyke read out loud Tuesday night, while her mother recorded him.
Jon didn't hesitate telling Jenna he'd make things legal by adopting her, sealing the deal with a big hug.
Jenna's mother said she and Jon married three and a half years ago and he has taken on the role as Jenna's father. Jenna's biological father isn't in the picture
