3 arrested, charged with drug crimes in Wilkinsburg

Three people are charged with drug offenses after police searched a Wilkinsburg home on Friday.

The Pennsylvania State Attorney General’s Office Task Force officers and Wilkinsburg police detectives executed a search warrant at 1410 Franklin Avenue in Wilkinsburg Borough.

Joseph James and Aaron James, both of Wilkinsburg, and Donte Marshall, of North Braddock, were arrested.

According to a news release, detectives found a stolen Ruger 9mm pistol that was loaded, 9 grams of crack cocaine; 0.3 grams of powder cocaine; 150 stamp bags of heroin; and approximately 8 grams of marijuana.

Police also confiscated a number of drug paraphernalia items and confiscated $1,222 in cash.

Joseph James faces the following charges and received a $5,000 straight bond: one count possession with intent to deliver (heroin); three counts possession of controlled substance (heroin, percocets and marijuana); one count possession of drug paraphernalia.

Marshall faces the following charges and received a $5,000 straight bond: one count possession w/intent to deliver (crack cocaine); one count possession w/intent to deliver (cocaine); two counts possession of controlled substance (crack cocaine and cocaine).

Aaron James faces the following charges and received an ROR bond: one count possession of a small amount of marijuana; one count possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three men were arraigned in district court.
