4 More File Suit In LA Fitness Shooting Rampage

PITTSBURGH,None — Lawyers for four victims of a shooting rampage at LA Fitness in Collier filed lawsuits in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court on Thursday against the company on the two-year anniversary of the crime.

Jackquilyne Gallagher, Ashley Ferragonio, Lisa Fleeher and Gretchen Lewis filed writs -- notices of intent to sue -- against LA Fitness International LLC, according to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE. Three victims filed writs Wednesday.

Attorneys in Pennsylvania typically have two years to file a lawsuit from the date of an incident.

The women were injured when George Sodini, 48, of Scott, opened fire inside LA Fitness and then killed himself.

Nearly all of the dozen shooting victims, including the estates of the three women who died, have lawsuits pending against Sodini's estate, LA Fitness or both.
