One of Amazon Prime's most popular perks is being scaled back.
Previously, Amazon Prime offered free two-day shipping on most items for customers who pay $99 a year for the service.

But now, Amazon is testing a new program called "Shop By Region."
It allows merchants to decide how far their items will ship with Amazon Prime.
The program is limited to sellers who ship directly to consumers.
Most Prime items ship directly from an Amazon warehouse and are not affected by the program.
Amazon did not say how long the test program will last.
