INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. — A 10-year-old boy was accidentally shot by his 15-year-old brother, according to Pennsylvania state police in Indiana County.
Investigators said the 15-year-old boy had just finished using the .22-caliber pistol for target practice Sunday at a home on Airport Road in Cherry Hill Township.
He thought the gun was unloaded, but one round was still in the chamber and it discharged.
The 10-year-old boy was shot behind the ear.
Details about his condition were not available.
