Bylsma: Crosby Continues To Experience Concussion Symptoms

PITTSBURGH,None — Sidney Crosby, who has not played since Dec. 5 and has not resumed skating, continues to have concussion symptoms, Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said Wednesday.

Crosby is doing some light workouts, but nothing more, Bylsma said in the first update on Crosby since his comments Dec. 12. At that time Crosby said he had headaches and other symptoms, but had passed a neurocognitive test.

Bylsma said there is no timetable for Crosby's return.

Crosby missed nearly 10 months of action after being diagnosed with a concussion Jan. 6. He returned for the Penguins on Nov. 21 and played in eight games before his latest episode.

Bylsma also said that defensemen Kris Letang, who has missed the last 11 games with a concussion, is feeling "a little better," but not ready to return.

The Penguins' (21-11-4) next game is Thursday night at the CONSOL Energy Center against the Philadelphia Flyers.
