Former school bus driver accused of exposing himself to boy

McCandless, Pa. — A former school bus driver has been placed on unpaid leave, following allegations that he exposed himself to an 8-year-old boy.

Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE reported that Daniel Thomas Dougherty, 57, of McCandless was arrested May 10 on charges of indecent exposure and corruption of minors.

Dougherty works for North Allegheny School District's transportation department. He was a bus driver until January and most recently worked in the office.

The allegations do not involve children with whom he came in contact through his work with the district, according to TribLIVE.

Dougherty was ordered to stand trial after a preliminary hearing Wednesday and will remain on leave pending the outcome of the case.
