EL PASO, TEXAS — A freak accident claimed the life a motel guest in Texas after a semi truck plowed into his room.
The 18-wheeler veered off a highway and smashed into this motel in El Paso.
Investigators say the 52-year-old victim was in a first-floor room.
Police are still looking into why the truck careened off the highway.
They say the tractor-trailer then plowed across a parking lot, before ramming the building.
Other motel guests were moved out after the incident.
