Fundraiser planned for family of Canonsburg officer killed in the line of duty

A fundraiser is being held for the family of a police officer killed while responding to a domestic situation.

Officer Scott Bashioum was shot and killed in November outside a home in Canonsburg. Officer James Saieva was also shot but survived. Both men worked for the Canonsburg police department.

Officer Bashioum leaves behind a wife and four children. A fundraiser to benefit them is being held at Shenanigans Bar and Grille on Babcock Boulevard in Ross Township.
