Goat yoga latest trend to sweep Arizona yoga community

Phoenix, Arizona — Forget aerial yoga, paddle board yoga and even Bikram Yoga. Goat yoga is the hottest yoga trend sweeping Arizona.

The classes take place on April Gould’s farm. But this “home grown” concept is actually the brain child of friend and yoga instructor Sarah Williams.

She said that when classes first started in October, people were a little slow to catch on. But now they’re booking up, and fast!

One participant says the challenge is in getting the right angle to hold up the goat on your back. According to Jackson Minor, “The best part is, apparently the goats enjoy it more than anyone else."

Gould and Williams offer the classes for $10 an hour. The farm is located in a suburb of Phoenix.
