'Heartbreak Kid' announces he's coming to Game 5 in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Fans of the Pittsburgh Penguins know the line of Nick Bonino, Phil Kessel and Carl Hagelin – also known as the HBK line – is on fire right now with the Pens up 2-1 in the Eastern Conference Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

With its emergence came a campaign to bring another HBK to Pittsburgh for Game 5.

, also known as The Heartbreak Kid, announced on social media Thursday night that he’s accepted the offer and has already booked a flight to the Burgh.

#‎HBKLine and #GetHBKToGame5 were trending on Twitter and Facebook during Wednesday night’s game and overnight into Thursday. The Penguins tweeted an invite to Michaels, with former Pittsburgh Steeler Brett Keisel promising to “save a seat” for him.

The former pro-wrestler tweeted that he doesn’t know much about hockey, but he started watching the series once he heard about the #‎HBKLine.
