According to police, Ball ran off after officers attempted to serve the violation. Officers tried using Tasers to subdue Ball, but due to the density of the woods, he got away.

The officer who was shoved by Ball was not seriously hurt.

"He's fine. No injuries," Ingram Police Chief Jack Dohery said over the weekend. "He did not require any medical attention."

Ball was arrested early Wednesday at his home.

Dohery said Wednesday that Ball, who is known to have guns, initially refused repeated orders to come out of his home. He remained inside for about half an hour before surrendering peacefully after being told that SWAT was called.

Two other people were inside the home, but it is unclear if charges will be filed against them.

McCandless police had filed four charges against Ball on April 12. Those charges include theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, harassment and driving while operating privilege is suspended.

According to Ingram Borough police, Ball had two outstanding warrants against him on a variety of charges including aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and violation of a court order.
