None — Julie Fine joined the Channel 11 News team in April 2010 as a reporter, and she's thrilled to be in Pittsburgh!

Beginning her television career after graduating from Tulane University, Julie went to work at WJLA-TV doing a variety of jobs in the newsroom. She worked her way up to be a researcher for the Investigative Team and was also the Associate Producer of the hour special: "Celebrate Washington."

From WJLA, Julie went to Erie, Pa., as a general assignment reporter in 1998. She started working nightside and then moved to days and covered education. The highlight of her job there was traveling to Anchorage, Alaska and Phoenix, Az., with local students for academic competitions. She met and interviewed many politicians, including former Vice President Al Gore and former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge.

Julie then went home to Buffalo to WKBW, where she covered breaking news. She then focused in on politics, covering a county-wide budget crisis. She traveled to the state Capitol to cover the swearing in of Gov. Paterson after Eliot Spizer resigned from office following a scandal. The highlights of her time in Buffalo were spending a day on the set of NYPD Blue and going to Washington, D.C., to cover the funeral of native son and Meet the Press Moderator Tim Russert, who she had interviewed several times.

She now has completed the Rust Belt Trifecta, coming to WPXI in Pittsburgh!
