PITTSBURGH — An Allegheny County jury on Thursday convicted Dalishia Salter of severely beating her 11-month-old son and leaving him on her back porch in an apparent act of revenge against the baby's father, Channel 11's news partners at TribLIVE reported.
Salter, 25, of Wilkinsburg, was found guilty of aggravated assault of a child, endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, reckless endangerment and making a false report for the Sept. 12, 2014, incident.
The key piece of evidence played in court was a cell phone video the child’s father, David Bryant, shot in September after receiving a text message allegedly from Salter, his ex-girlfriend, that she had just abused their son, Daviere.
Salter had testified that Bryant knocked a television off a dresser onto Daviere, who then fell off the bed where he'd been lying,

Common Pleas Judge Beth Lazzara revoked Salter's bond and sent her to the Allegheny County Jail pending her sentencing, which was scheduled for Oct. 28, according to
