Sarah Jo Smith, of the Pet Adoption League in Yukon, said the puppies were also burned and have some sores and missing hair.

“Someone had taken a lighter and burned their lips, singed off their whiskers and they had a few other marks from the lighter on them,” she said.
The Pet Adoption League is nursing the puppies back to health and they will then be put up for adoption.
