Allegheny County police were looking for a dark grey sedan in connection with the case, and early Wednesday they told Channel 11 News they found the car.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police homicide unit arrested Joshua Strayhorn at an address on Shadeland Street in Pittsburgh around 6:35 p.m. Thursday.

Strayhorn was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in connection with Nolen’s death. He was lodged at the Allegheny County Jail to await arraignment on those charges.

Authorities said Strayhorn drove the vehicle involved in the shooting, but they don’t believe he shot Nolen.

He was being questioned at police headquarters Thursday evening.

Homicide detectives and Pittsburgh police also executed a search warrant at the residence at which he was found and seized multiple firearms and drugs.

Calvin Nolen, the father of the victim, said Michael Nolen was visiting a relative when he was shot.

Nolen said his son was also shot on July 26 and that one of the bullets was still lodged in his skull at the time of the second shooting.
