Fire tears through Coraopolis home

A house was severely damaged when a fire tore through it late Wednesday in Coraopolis.

The fire, in the 1100 block of Hiland Avenue, was called in around 10 p.m.

Flames could be seen shooting from the front of the two-story home.

No one was injured, according to officials.

The front porch and second floor were charred. There’s no word on the cause.

The fire is under investigation.
