PITTSBURGH - Five firefighters climbed 110 steps at the Cathedral of Learning to commemorate firefighters who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
Each climber carried a picture and biographical sketch of a New York Department firefighter who died.
"We can relate to the 343 guys who didn't get to
return their families that day," said firefighter Nathan Decker.
Firefighters nationwide are taking part in the climb.
