MERCER COUNTY, Pa. - A 25-year-old Mercer County man is facing charges after police said he taught a 2-year-old how to break-up marijuana buds the man intended to sell.
Police in Farrell said the lesson in crime was recorded on Christopher Cordero's cellphone.
According to the criminal complaint, the phone was recovered during a shooting investigation on Spearman Avenue in February.
Investigators said they don't know who the boy is, but Cordero's voice can be heard instructing the boy in the video. At one point, according to police documents, Cordero yells at the boy when he stops.
Authorities said the video shows the child smelling the marijuana and his hands while breaking it up.
Police said they also found hundreds of blatantly drug-related text messages
on the phone.
