Neighbors described Jucha, who they say taught computer science classes at the University of Pittsburgh and worked with his family’s recycling business, as outgoing and adventurous.

“He was just the nicest person you could ever meet. He was always positive, never said, ‘No,’ to anybody even when he had plans,” said neighbor Eliana Bonomo.

Police said the wrong-way driver, identified as Daniel Fleet Jr., 25, of McDonald, suffered moderate injuries.

Two other cars were damaged in the crash, according to authorities. A third person suffered minor injuries.

Fleet was charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence. He was taken to the Washington County Jail on $100,000 bond.
