Medical Examiner IDs body found in Penn Hills woods

PENN HILLS, Pa.,None — Police have identified the man whose body was discovered in a wooded area in Penn Hills Tuesday afternoon.

According to Channel 11’s news exchange partners at TribLIVE, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Stewart Paton, 53, of Penn Hills.

Officials said a neighbor walking a dog spotted the body along Burton Drive around 4:30 p.m. and alerted authorities.

Police said Paton’s death doesn’t initially appear to be suspicious.

Neighbors confirmed that Paton lived in the neighborhood.
