NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. - A public memorial service was held on Saturday at Norwin High School to remember a marine killed in action in Afghanistan last month.
According to a press release from Norwin High School, Lt. Col. Christopher K. Raible died Sept. 14 while leading a counter-attack against insurgents disguised as U.S. soldiers.
The 1990 Norwin graduate was remembered during a service at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Norwin high school auditorium.
