Mom could get up to 7 years for actions that led to 5-week-old daughter's death

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — A Wilkinsburg mother could face up to seven years in prison for actions the judge said led to the death of her 5-week-old daughter in exchange for a plea.

Sheena Alston is expected to testify against her boyfriend, Lincoln Levys. Levys is scheduled to go to trial in April.

He’s accused of beating their 7- and 2-year-old children, and killing the baby.

The baby was found unresponsive in the couple’s home in October, 2014.

According to the criminal complaint, the baby had bruises on her back and arm plus three broken bones.

Levys was originally charged with three counts of aggravated assault, three counts of endangering the welfare of children and one count of prohibitive acts.
