Vacant house in Greenfield damaged in fire

PITTSBURGH — An unoccupied house caught fire early Sunday morning in Pittsburgh’s Greenfield neighborhood.

Officials said the fire happened in the 300 block of Saline Street around 6:40 a.m.

Emergency dispatchers said that flames were showing on the second and third floors at one point.

According to officials, everyone got out of the house safely without any injuries.

Arson investigators were at the site, police said, but details were not immediately available.

The Red Cross said they are assisting three adults impacted by this fire, providing them with food, clothing and shelter.
