OAKMONT, Pa. — Another local business has shown support of the Penguins ahead of their Eastern Conference final matchup with the Boston Bruins.
Oakmont Bakery, located on Allegheny Avenue, posted a picture on its Facebook page Friday morning that shows it's changed the name of its Boston cream pies.
The sign now reads, “Penguins Cream.”
A Bloomfield bar gained national recognition after posting a sign on Thursday announcing it will not sell Boston beer for the duration of the Eastern Conference finals matchup between the Penguins and Bruins.
Howler's Coyote Café posted a photo of the sign on its Facebook page, which reads: "Two days left to order any Sam Adams. We will not be serving any Boston beers during the Eastern Conf. Finals!"
The Penguins and Bruins begin their best-of-seven series Saturday night at Consol Energy Center.
