Pittsburgh cancer patient gets wish: She's taking family to Disney World, getting married

NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — A cancer patient's wish has come true.  Jhanay Harber is going to Disney World with her family, and she's going to get married there.

Harber announced her married plans Monday, as she picked out rings for her fiancé and her at GDC Jewelers in North Huntingdon.

"I've been through it all this past week, and I'm standing here today," Harber told Brandon Hudson.  "I do thank you guys and everybody out there who donated."

Jamie's Dream Team asked for donations for flights, hotel rooms and Disney gift cards.  Donations came from near and far to help Harber and her family make the trip.

Harber, 28, was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago. The cancer has since spread to her spine, lungs and brain.

Harber's doctors at Magee Women's Hospital have said her chances of recovery are slim.

"I want my kids to experience what I did," said Harber last week.

Harber and her fiancé will fly to Orlando Friday.  Her family will follow later.  The wedding is on Sunday.
