Police: Suspect runs over woman with vehicle

EAST HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman was arrested Tuesday night in East Huntingdon Township after police said she ran over another woman with her vehicle.

According to police, Danielle Falcon ran over Katelin Hiltabidel with her Ford Explorer on Buckeye Tram Road about 8 p.m.

Investigators said the incident happened after Falcon spotted her boyfriend with Hiltabidel.

“When the victim exited the vehicle, Ms. Falcon became overcome with emotion and she accelerated her vehicle, subsequently running over the victim,” said Officer Steve Limani.

Hiltabidel was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

She suffered compound fractures to both of her legs in addition to bruises and contusions. As of 9 p.m. Wednesday, Hiltabidel was being treated in the intensive care unit.

Investigators said Falcon is facing several charges, including criminal attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
