PITTSBURGH - Fights and out of control concert goers apparently kept police busy at the Brothers of the Sun tour, featuring Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, at Heinz Field Saturday night.
Police said they arrested 12 people and made 40 non-traffic citations for mostly fighting and intoxication at the sold-out event that began at 4:30 p.m.
Concert goers told WPXI reporter Shelby Zarotney they noticed all the activity.
"We saw ambulances and police
cars, but didn't see or have anything down our way," Joanne Petor told Zarotney. "The excitement seems it was up there."
"This is crazy down here," Jake Brown, a passerby told Zarotney. "I don't have a ticket, but I saw a big fight of 20 people."
Police said several concert goers were also ejected from the stadium.
